was founded in August 1995 as a side project of the drummer from Markus Jüllich, Gernot Leinert (keyboards) and Michael Rohr (singer).

After two years of work they contacted in December 1997 with the producer of , Gerhard Magin, in the Commusication Tonstudios, and there himself took care and produced the Demo-Cd "Lost". This Demo-Cd was the introduction of the band to the records firms and the press.

was an expectated and newcomer sensation in Germany and had very well acceptance in the complete Gothic-/Wave- and Alternative press. The band got then high marks in press and multiple offers from record firms.

As can be seen from their music is a band that follows a new music path, atmospheric, one way melacholic music with penetrating melodies and which has its roots in Gothic-Pop and Dark-Wave with a great influence of the 80s.

The mix between Wave/Pop of the 80s, decorated with modern keyboard elements and strong and progressive guitars is the main concept on .

The lyrics have in foreground the personal emotions and perceptions from the singer Michael Rohr. The figures in the lyrics are like a mirror of one self ways and should, in consonance with the music, leave the listener thoughtful.

In October 1998 signed the first Album contract with USG Records.

"The Secret Inside" was recorded and mixed in December '98 and January '99 in the Commusication Tonstudios with the producer Gerhard Magin (, Theater Of Tragedy, Six Was Nine). As a guest musician worked Markus Tiedermann (Six Was Nine) as guitarist to play the most "pop" elements, because Kristian Kohlmannslehner was more successful in the more heavy guitar parts.

In April 1999 was the debut album "The Secret Inside" wordwide published.

And also was introduced live to the public during the HIM tour across Germany as support band. In May 1999 and later in September 1999 Paradise Lost had in their european tours as support band.

Initially Markus Jüllich (Drums), Gernot Leinert (Keyboards) and Michael Rohr (Vocals) began as a trio with various guest musics, but in the course of time and, above all, for the successful touring they become a "complete" band with the inclusion of Kristian Kohlmannslehner (Guitar), Guido Holzmann (Bass) and Andreas Neuderth (Drums) which Markus Jüllich already had replace during a tour als percussionist.

Markus Jüllich had leaved his place as drummer to Andreas Neuderth and had the task of being the second keyboard player, but taken special care in the programming and sampling.

By the conclusion of their contract with USG Records in December 1999, became free to sign in August 2000 a new agreement with Drakkar Entertainment for the new label E-Wave Records.

The release date for the album "melancholia" was 19-02-2001. So "melacholia" was the title from the second CD from .

From then until the present time the mature, unnique and impressing work motivate totally. The melancholic and stirring Album was a formal notice that the earlier Side-Project was getting transformed into a succesfull band.

In February 2001 acted as support for in their retirement tour and tey situated the "melancholia" songs in an amazing position.

In summer 2001 they completed various Festivals and Open Air concerts very succesfully.

In March 2002 they began to write new songs that will be released in the third album which will be out almost certainly in the beginning of year 2003.

Since there has been a great demand by the Fan community the sold out debut album "The Secret Inside" which was not longer available from the USG Labels will be by E-Wave Records in 29/04/2002 digitally remastered and with a new cover re-published.
